Well, Punxatawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter.
However, that means spring will be here in about six weeks.
Justus Lake has about 6 - 8 inches of ice and lots of ice fishermen have been out on it trying their luck.
Cross Country skiing at the Park has been spotty at best with all the ups & downs of the weather.
We have only had enough snow to groom the trails once so far this season.
We have also had to cancel our FREE "Learn-To-Ski" Day, but hope to have at least one weekend where we can offer it before the winter is over.
The Venango Fatherhood Initiative's Winterfest at Pioneer Flats has also been canceled due to lack of snow, but they are still also planning to have the event before the winter concludes.
Watch the News & Events Section of this web site for more information and, hopefully, when the events will occur.
The Polar Plunge scheduled for January 6th has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 24th.
