Twelve days of bitter cold has resulted in Justus Lake having an ice layer over 6 inches thick.
A lot of folks have been ice fishing as a result.
However, with the recent thaw, please use caution when venturing out onto the ice.
Snow conditions have been good for Cross Country Skiing, but the expected warmer temperatures and expected rain will adversely affect those conditions.
Hopefully, snow will return following the thaw.
