Where can I find job postings?
Vacant positions that are open to considering external applicants are posted on the public bulletin boards throughout our facilities, in the Human Resources Department located in the Courthouse Annex Building, as well on the PA CareerLink website at: https://www.pacareerlink.pa.gov.
How can I obtain an application to apply?
You may contact the Human Resources Office to obtain the Venango County application for employment via e-mail. The hours of operation for the Human Resources Office are 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The office is closed for most major holidays. You also can print Venango County Application here and submit to Human Resources Office at either location.

It is important to note...
- Applications will only be accepted for vacant positions that are currently being advertised and recruited for.
- All applicants are required to submit a Venango County Application to the Human Resources Department by the deadline listed in the posting notice corresponding to the vacancy being applied for.
- When submitting an application, all required credentials such as proof of Veterans’ Preference eligibility, college transcripts, or any special certifications should be included.
- Applications must be filled out completely and include handwritten signatures on the final page.
- Most Human Service related positions require position dependent testing in addition to submitting the required application and certifications. For more information regarding testing requirements and procedures, please contact Sandy Sutch through a method listed above.
